Empty Saddle Club
This privately-owned 12-1/2 acre facility, located at 39 Empty Saddle Road, boards horses for its members and sponsors equestrian and cattle shows throughout the year. Seahorse Riding Academy
Located at 26411 Crenshaw Boulevard, just north of Palos Verdes Drive North, the Academy provides hunter/jumper training for serious riders. The stables and riding rings are among the finest in the area, and the facility offers lessons for beginning riders as well as Grand Prix competitors. For additional information, call (310) 541-5921.

Since its inception, the stable has sought to continuously improve its facilities and enhance its services. The stable boasts one of the cleanest stable facilities and grounds in the area, top-notch trainers for both Western and English riding and 24-hour security.

In 1992, a new barn was constructed, and in 1997, two new barns were built.Originally leased out to private contractors until 1983 (when the City assumed management), the stable returned to a concession arrangement with a private contractor in 2000.
Boarding:
Residents and non-residents may use the stables by mailing a written request directly to: Palos Verdes Stable, 4057 Via Opata, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274. Please include a contact name and number. Residents should also enclose a copy of a recent utility bill.

The stable offers riding lessons (both English and Western), children’s programs during the summer months, and outstanding riding and boarding facilities year round. The stable currently has three riding arenas (two of which are lighted), one round pen, two day pens, three wash areas (one is a warm-water wash) and access to community horse riding trails. There are 52 stalls in all, which include eight “in and out” stalls and fourteen pipe stalls.

Ride To Fly is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) organization dedicated to providing therapeutic horseback riding and the associated learning experiences to children and adults with challenges in a safe, nurturing environment. We believe in the inherent worth and dignity of all people and wish to share the special gift of horsemanship with those with special needs. We are a NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) member operating center that has been serving the South Bay area since 1994. We are a completely volunteer organization, therefore any donation to the organization goes 100% into the program. :
